藝術家 Artist | 范承宗 FAN,CHENG-ZONG

87年出生的范承宗，因為對沒人願意學的傳統竹藝產生濃厚興趣，從研究生休學，花9年去各地尋找老師傅學習傳統技藝，並結合自己的理解和方法，創作當代器皿和藝術裝置。 23歲就已拿遍美國IDEA，德國iF、Red Dot國際設計大獎。跟著一条，來看看這位鑽研傳統手藝的年輕人，和他的創作故事吧。

Cheng Tsung FENG, born in 1987, left his postgraduate project to study traditional techniques from senior craftsmen across Taiwan because of his strong interest in the neglected bamboo handicrafts. He spent 9 years learning and then created modern art works and installations in combination with his own understanding and methods.
